Re-routed AC
I am a big fan of the Cruise-N-Comfort 12-volt DC powered Air Conditioning. The initial install had the cold air outlet at floor level pointing toward the front of the van. That cooled my feet really well. But cool air sinks, so starting it on the floor still left everything above my feet still hot.

So, I got some insulated flexible ducting + aluminum tape + zip ties and re-routed the cold air outlet to the back of the van and up closer to the ceiling, pointing up and front. It cools the van off much more quickly now.

I'm sewing blackout/thermal curtains to the existing thin gray sliding curtain separating the drivers cab with the living space in back. I think that will go a long way to controlling the temperature inside.
